When the C760 first came out, there were problems with the focusing mechanism and they redesigned it. The new design worked OK.

As long as the C760 was being made, you could buy the new  focusing parts from Omega and replace the old ones.

When the C760 was discontinued, you could still buy replacement focusing parts as long as they had them. But those parts are now all gone and will not be made again.

I have heard that several people have made satisfactory replacement focus systems, but i dont know the details.

If any of you have worked out good focusing system, please let us know what it is. I would be pleased to have it in our files.
